Totally Free Download: AdBlock Plus
AdBlock Plus is a free extension for Mozilla Firefox. From their site:
Ever been annoyed by all those ads and banners on the internet that often take longer to download than everything else on the page? Install Adblock Plus now and get rid of them. Right-click on a banner and choose “Adblock” from the context menu — the banner won’t be downloaded again. Maybe even replace parts of the banner address with star symbols to block similar banners as well. Or choose a filter subscription, then even this simple task will usually be unnecessary: the filter subscription will block most advertisements fully automatically.

I was travelling thru the U.P. the day your show was on and was thrilled to hear that a knowledgeable computer tech was helping the open public with general questions… for FREE! I am writing this because although I am not an expert, I do find many friends and family (and friends of the family) asking me questions that I know aren’t necessarily difficult to solve. I know theres some techies out there that thrive upon people like that (im speaking from my own experience). Thank you for giving people the assistance they need without milking them when its something that they can do themselves. Your knowledge and comedy throughout the show was entertaining and reassuring that PC is and always will be the way to go!
Sincerely
Chad Mattila
